Are you okay with this??! Well I don't actually know what to say. I just can't believe they are making the series in TV. Unless may be its Jake Cuenca whose performing. (haha..) kiddin' aside, I'm speechless on this. I just don't wanna judge without witnessing it. Oh crap! I really can't imagine how they gonna come up with those video tricks and animations. Like when Edward Cullen has brought Bella Swan in the meadows just by simply running through the woods and all stuff. I don't know. I just don't adore the Filipino animation. I think it is still somehow on the stage of either coping or adjusting with the technologies now a days. What I don't wanna see actually was a Filipino TV Series adaptation of Twilight with a 'not-really-good' animation just like what I'm seein' when ABS-CBN plugged fantasy series entitled Dyosa, or stuffs like that. Oh well, let's see how would people react on this. Will they love it? Or hate it? Either way..it'll soon gonna happen. I bet.

Regardless of my opinions, It is said that ABS-CBN's CEO, Euegenio Lopez III signed a contract last December 6, 2008 for this said tv series of Twilight (Takipsilim, as what they call it!). Well, this is a huge money at stake. Anyways, the taping is said to start next year by February in Baguio, Tagaytay, Bukidnon and some parts of it will be taped outside the country. And for the cast, unofficial yet here's the list:

It's Christmas season, and as they say; it's the time of giving. It's the time of the year where everyone seems to enjoy sharing what they have. Gift giving, sending cards and some thoughts just to every person you know. This time, I believe it's time to make a difference. A shop for a cause through, Yuletide Souk : The Big Red Bazaar will be held at the Rockwell tent from December 20 to 21. Bazaars like this were really great, especially when you know that you're not just giving yourself a present but you also give others who are most needful. Let's join and help Got Heart Foundation and make this bazaar a successful one.

This year, I don't wanna wish for something that is impossibly happening. I think I'm done on splurging over the things I really want from stores of different wheresoever malls for the past few weeks. Just had enough, I could say. I do not want myself to succumb with the labels and all those stuff. Well, not for now.

To start things off, before the Christmas breaks and the year ends; I got to relinquish all my worries and start anew. Just wanna get away with at least, stress from work. That's the greatest gift I believe I could give to myself more than anything. And even maybe for all the wage earners in the world. It's just so nice to free yourself once and for all from being frazzled by your job.

The next best thing could probably be a time spent to all those persons close to my heart. A small gathering of me and my friends, and me and my family as well (on both different days of course!) would fairly complete my Christmas. Well honestly, just the thought of having them together in a single setting...Oh God...I could just die from happiness. I don't know...it's merely not an impossible thing. Not for the rich and fortunate ones who could afford to throw a party and have a single event just to have them all together. It's not yet my wedding anyways and I don't have much to exhaust for a lavishly grand event.

Lastly, just a time for myself and no one else. The coming year should be an inception of a new and better me. Just a realization to change some wrong perceptions and that lamentable part of me. I really wish I could be so assertive on this one. I used to have this plan for almost every year but a hapless me couldn't make the change all throughout the year. Maybe I wasn't that determined before or maybe I wasn't that sure about the plan?! Oh well, I just want a moment where I could internalize everything that happened to me 11 months and some days ago. Relentlessly, I wanna make up my own moves and decisions for next year. I'd count all advises by the way. :)

Of all the restaurants I have been in, I could say that Bubba Gump is one of those who caters a real great food. Inspired by the 1994 film Forrest gump, this restaurant has also a nice and cozy place. Great for parties, family dinner, company meeting or even just a date with your friends or love one. Their place in greenbelt was spacious enough to accommodate both smokers and non-smokers. They've got a nice veranda outside where you could also dine as you see the busy streets in Makati.

Besides the place, what I like most of course is what they're offering me. I actually haven't tried everything from their menu; but if I were given a chance or if my stomach could bare to carry them all, I definitely and I would love to.

What me and my friend ordered was their grilled dory jambalaya, which is a spicy jambalaya with some shrimps in it topped with a grilled dory (hmm..sounds yummy but honestly, it tastes even better. :D) And their Southern chicken which is boneless and comes with a tasteful mashed potato and a salad that is also of the same great taste. It was just too bad that we can no longer eat more and order some of their dish which I have heard was also good, like their dynamite shrimp, jambalaya pasta and their calamares. OMG! I just can't wait 'til my next visit. I'm really really loving the place. Thank God our team will be celebrating our christmas party their. Yey! :D

December is all about Christmas. Lanterns, Lights, Christmas trees, Snowman and great foods. And speaking about great foods...Proud Filipina that I am, I'm so fond about eating 'kakanin' or what these things people know as rice cakes.

Just discovered yesterday this yummy Bibingka that usually comes out only during Christmas season. I was so in a hurry to get to GT Tower yesterday to have a taste of Bibingkabon's bibingka (which never fail my appetite! :)). I'm just so glad they open a branch here in Makati.

A warm and a handful bibingka..just freshly baked. (sigh..) Just can't forgot how it taste. :D

You know what i was so excited about this morning?? It's that ad I saw as I was browsing the net. OMG!! I just really don't wanna miss this back 2 back concert of freestyle, MYMP, and Side A. I love their songs and i just wanna hear them sing live on this day. Can't wait...

Yesterday, I got a taste of the famous nono's chocolate oblivion by Classic Confections. Ye bah!! At last!! Now I know why it is awarded as one of the best desserts in Manila. As for me, their cakes was enough to spoil someone else's appetite. I loved their cake..really! Just imagined yourself on a feverish day from work that you just got to treat yourself afterwards for a rewarding taste of a cake. That was actually what happened to me. The fact that their products are nice..not to mentioned their cozy place..It is indeed, worth trying!

Oh! and before I forgot, I also love their chocolate mousse. Super love it..Some things like this are just worth carving for. :p

I was so excited to heard about their upcoming 2009 planner. Based on the reviews and story tells...the last year's belle de jour planner was really awesome. (I've got the starbucks planner for myself then...) What's good about this planner was not just the 'girly' look of it, but also, the coupons inside. This year, I believe they'd offer 60 discount coupons plus a BDJ forget-me-not notepad/coupon holder. Last year's discount coupons include lots of really nice restaurants (like the red crab..hmm..yummy!), coffee shops (like CBTL), cupcakes by sonja and stores like kashieca and freeway. Frostings' cupcakes! Yep! You've read that right! Their very sinful yet very "oh so yummy!" gourmet cupcakes... (Err...)

I was in glorieta the other day when I saw this tempting ad. I actually tried to resist the urge of wanting some; but by just seeing the cupcakes and the way it looks, damn! These compelling cupcakes are really my weakness.

The sweet tooth 'julie' (yeah, I confess and admit, I really am a sweet tooth!) hurried to frostings to buy some and taste their mouthwatering and very enticing product. With no regrets at all, the cupcakes are really yummy and is worth the sin. Plus, the price is very reasonable. (Tip: The smores choco caramel cupcake really satisfies me! And so is the whooping pie)

3. Go naked on their hot/cold jacuzzi! The choice is yours! As for me, I prefer the hot one. (coz' I am..haha..kiddin'!)

4. Try their super relaxing whole body massage. I love it! Really..You'd really feel good after it. To add up, the massage is fun! My favorite was the last part of it. I swear you'd gonna love it too. Better try to know what I am talkin' about here...

5. Be secured with their lockers. Plus! The locker room is great! They've got blowers, powder, lotion and all stuffs. The room would apparently looks like your own. :)

Note: Wensha spa is not advisable for couples. There are designated areas for females/males so you cannot be together, except from the time that you'll eat on their buffet.

The valentine's day is nearly approaching. A day dedicated for couples, sweethearts, and lovers. And of course, gift giving is always there. Thank god I've found this so cute..so nice..and so unique stuff! The couples shirt! (that's what they used to call it) These couples shirt are just perfectly something unusual to buy for a valentines gift..but isn't it nice to see two people..definitely in love with each other; walking with these shirts..proud of their partners?! I don't know about you, but i actually think that's sweet. Apparently, the sweetness is not due to what the shirt says..but due to the fact that you have to wear something that connects you and the ones you loved. :) These shirts are available at online stores.
